Agreement
These terms cover your use of boxscorebrains.com and the Box Score Brains podcast feed. By using the site or subscribing to the show, you're agreeing to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What we offer
Box Score Brains is a podcast and companion website providing baseball commentary, statistics, and trivia aimed at kids and families. Content is written and produced with AI, with human curation -- every fact is checked against real MLB records before it airs. That said, this is a commentary and entertainment show, not an official source: for anything you need to be certain of, check MLB's own records directly.
Using the site
You can browse the site, listen to episodes, and subscribe to the feed freely. Please don't use the site to do anything illegal, to interfere with how it works, or to scrape or republish our content or audio as your own.
Our content
The Box Score Brains name, logo, cover art, and episode content are owned by Box Score Brains (or used with permission). You're welcome to share links to our episodes and site. Please don't re-upload our audio or republish our show notes elsewhere without asking first --baseball@boxscorebrains.com.
Free access today, and a future paid tier
Box Score Brains is currently free to subscribe to and listen to. We may introduce an optional paid subscription tier in the future. We aren't publishing pricing here because it isn't finalized, but our posture on refunds is settled in advance: if we launch a paid tier, you'll be able to cancel anytime, effective at the end of your current billing period, and we won't issue partial-period refunds for time already paid for.
No warranty
We fact-check every episode against real MLB records before it airs, and we take that seriously -- but the site and show are provided "as is," without a warranty that they'll be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. If you spot something wrong, please tell us; see below.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Box Score Brains isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or show.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site and show evolve. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do, and material changes (like the launch of a paid tier) will be called out clearly, not buried in a date change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Box Score Brains operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This section is one of the specific things awaiting the legal review noted above.
